<p>Overview</p> <p>Chenega Naswik International, LLC has immediate openings for an Unarmed Security Officer to provide security services in support of the National Park Service in Washington, D.C.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform random patrol of building interior/exterior/external grounds. </li><li>Manage Access Control and Surveillance (entry/exit/inside/outside of building) </li><li>Monitoring personnel access (entry/exit), visitor control and screening </li><li>Monitor Security and Emergency Alarms </li><li>Operate security equipment, X-Ray machines, magnetometers, and trace detection equipment. </li><li>Advise and report breaches of security hardware to include broken locks, doors, non-working cameras, communications radios, etc. </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Possess a high school education or equivalent (such as GED Equivalency certificate) and </li><li>two (2) years of relevant experience. </li><li>Possess a current Washington DC Security Guard License with District of Columbia or Virgina (or be willing for us to sponsor you to obtain one). </li><li>Speak, read, write, and understand the English language, apply written rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training material. </li><li>Must be able to work flexible hours.) </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook. </li><li>Knowledge of physical security and anti-terrorism/force protection for DoD facilities </li></ul> <p>Estimated Salary/Wage</p> <p>Up to USD $24.22/Hr.</p>
