<p>Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking for Electrical/Instrumentation Technicians for a client in Portland, OR that focuses on renewable energy manufacturing and large rotating machinery systems. This is a temporary project, expected to be three weeks in duration. The person in this position will be supporting the integration and commissioning of PLC-controlled industrial equipment used in the renewable energy sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in a rapidly growing industry!</p> <p>PAY: $30-$40/hr</p> <p>Electrical/Instrumentation Technician Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Support integration of prefabricated PLC control systems onto HPU and compressor skids</p> </li><li> <p>Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs</p> </li><li> <p>Mount and wire field instrumentation including pressure transducers, RTDs, thermocouples, flow meters, and level switches</p> </li><li> <p>Wire solenoid valves, relay outputs, and field devices</p> </li><li> <p>Perform point-to-point wiring from field instruments to control panels</p> </li><li> <p>Crimp and terminate lugs, ferrules, and connectors</p> </li><li> <p>Install cable glands, conduit fittings, and route wire harnesses</p> </li><li> <p>Properly strip, label, bundle, and dress wiring</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct basic testing including continuity and sensor checks</p> </li><li> <p>Support engineering teams during commissioning and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Electrical/Instrumentation Technician Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Previous experience in industrial electrical assembly or instrumentation work</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with PLC control panels and industrial instrumentation preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of wiring standards and electrical best practices</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with cable termination, ferrules, and wire management</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with industrial sensors and controls systems</p> </li><li> <p>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods</p> </li></ul> <p>Details and Schedule:</p> <ul> <li> <p>$30-$40/hour</p> </li><li> <p>Approx. 3-week temporary assignment starting on or around 5/25</p> </li><li> <p>Potential for extension based on project needs</p> </li><li> <p>MON-FRI schedule, 40 hours/week</p> </li></ul>
