A Single Subject Teaching Credential in Foundational-Level Mathematics is also accepted, however it may narrow placement in a Mathematics assignment at the High School level. We accept out of state applicants looking to relocate to the San Fernando Valley if applicants have started compiling required documents for the process of converting their professional-level credential from another state. Applications from Intern Eligible applicants are accepted, but must be accompanied by a letter from the applicant's university on official letterhead indicating that the candidate is intern eligible, with an anticipated effective date for when the applicant will be recommended to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing by the university for the Single Subject Intern Credential. Applications from applicants who are currently in a credentialing program and plan to graduate and receive their teaching credential upon graduation in the months of May, June or July are accepted but must be accompanied by a letter from the applicant's university on official letterhead indicating that the candidate is on board to graduate from the credentialing program, with an anticipated effective date for when the applicant will be recommended to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing by the university for the Single Subject Credential.</p> <p>Requirements / Qualifications</p> <p>Comments and Other Information</p> <p>Mathematics Teacher 2025-2026 School Year The following are required for this position prior to offer of employment: ~Fingerprint Clearance ~TB Clearance ~Minimum of 3 professional references Excellent Benefits Package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and their families at no charge to the employee; contribution to CalSTRS and private retirement account; $50,000 life insurance policy at no charge to employees, with the option to purchase additional coverage. We are an independent conversion charter high school located in the heart of the San Fernando Valley. As a Charter School we pride ourselves on having increased autonomy and governance.
