The Facilities Technician reports to the Operations Officer and is responsible for ensuring that YWCA Dayton's facilities are well maintained allowing us to meet our standards of excellence. This person supports the vision, mission and values of YWCA Dayton.</p> <p>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Complete work orders as assigned using electronic work order system. </li><li>Follow preventative maintenance plan. </li><li>Assist with moving, loading, unloading and storing supplies, furniture and equipment. </li><li>Perform minor troubleshooting and repairs including plumbing fixtures, drains, HVAC filters, carpentry, plugs/switches, locksmith, drywall/finishing and painting. </li><li>Set up event and meeting spaces when scheduled and assist with space allocation plans. </li><li>Maintain operational functionality of doors and windows. </li><li>Operate and maintain a variety of tools and equipment making recommendations for new purchases when applicable. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of building systems, code, and general maintenance practices. </li><li>Active driver's license and clean driving record. </li><li>Understanding of racial equity and social justice issues and a demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of those we serve. </li><li>Responsive to the needs and requests of clients, residents, staff and Board of Directors with a willingness to collaborate and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED </li><li>2 years' experience in maintenance role. </li></ul> <p>ANTICIPATED SALARY AND BENEFITS:</p> <ul> <li>$20.00 hourly, based on experience </li><li>Health, dental and vision coverage </li><li>Generous PTO and holiday pay </li><li>Life and AD&D insurance </li><li>Long term disability </li><li>Employee Assistance Program </li></ul> <p>YWCA Retirement Fund</p> <p>Automatic enrollment in the YWCA National Retirement Fund upon completion of two years of employment (1,000 hours or more worked per year).
