<p>GENERAL SUMMARY: As a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer, you will be responsible for engineering, management and strategic planning. A BI Developer who designs, develops, and maintains business intelligence solutions, including data analytics platforms and reporting tools. They translate business needs into technical specifications and create visualizations and reports. Proficiency in database management systems and BI technologies is required. Ability to write business reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of managers, vendors and employees of the organization. </li><li>Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret and extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. </li><li>Problem solving skills required. </li><li>Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining </li><li>In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework </li><li>Expertise with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI) </li><li>Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) </li><li>Experience with JET Reporting Services </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree (B.S/B.A.) in Computer Science or equivalent for four-year college or technical school.
