Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, sanitary, and aesthetically comfortable environment. Responsible for major floor care projects, cleanliness and maintenance of hard surface floors and carpets.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Performs general janitorial duties in apartments and commons areas as directed by the Director of EVS.</p> <p>Maintains floors and carpets within the Independent Living.</p> <p>Responsible for picking up and removal of trash from assigned areas.</p> <p>Follows cleaning and deep cleaning schedules and performs annual cleanings as a part of the weekly cleaning schedule.</p> <p>Attends to emergencies while following safety procedures.</p> <p>Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.</p> <p>Experience:</p> <p>Janitorial/Custodial: 1 year (Required)</p> <p>Work Location: In person</p> <p>Essex Meadows is an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity in the workplace</p>
