<p>Job Description</p> <p>Description</p> <p>eXPEDITIONARY fORCE PROTECTION (EFP) aNALYST</p> <p>Description</p> <p>SAIC is currently seeking a Principal Policy Analyst. The successful candidate will provide Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support to the Secretariat for Special Operations (SSO) within Capability, Development & Innovation (CD&I). CD&I conducts rapid research and development (R&D) of technical solutions and delivers novel capabilities to enhance the irregular warfare mission for the Department of Defense, Special Operations Community, and Intelligence Community. The EFP analyst will coordinate R&D projects, develop and refine end-user requirements, provide project management, and interface with international partners.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide technical and operational advice related to EFP mission focus areas. The EFP focus areas include: Blast Effects and Mitigation; Screening, Observation, Detection, and Protection; Maritime Security; and Subterranean Warfare and/or Tunnel Technologies. </li><li>Ensure successful execution and delivery of multiple research and development projects simultaneously from receiving requirements to project completion. </li><li>Interface with special operations and conventional military end users to develop technology requirements and potential solutions. </li><li>Coordinate with international defense partners and collaborate on international task plans for </li></ul>
