<p>Primary Objective of Position: Analyze, design, and implement IT related solutions to ensure the business' systems and applications meet the business' requirements.</p> <p>Key Areas of Responsibility</p> <p>Collaborates with the IT team and stakeholders to understand software requirements.</p> <ul> <li>Interviews users to gather necessary information about application needs. </li><li>Analyzes user needs and designs efficient and effective software solutions. </li><li>Develops detailed specifications, including flowcharts and diagrams. </li><li>Codes, configures, and modifies software applications based on design specifications. </li><li>Customizes off-the-shelf software to meet specific business requirements. </li><li>Plans and conducts thorough testing of applications to ensure functionality, performance, and security. </li><li>Identifies and addresses any bugs or issues through debugging and troubleshooting. </li><li>Assists in the deployment of applications and software updates. </li><li>Coordinates with IT teams and end-users to ensure a smooth transition of applications deployed. </li><li>Provides training to end-users on how to effectively use the applications. </li><li>Offers ongoing support to address user concerns, troubleshoot issues, and optimize user experience. </li><li>Maintains comprehensive documentation of applications, including technical specifications, user manuals, and system changes. </li><li>Works closely with other IT professionals, such as software developers, database administrators, and system analysts, to ensure seamless integration and functionality. </li><li>Stays informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. </li><li>Recommends and implements improvements to enhance the performance and efficiency of existing applications. </li><li>Ensures applications comply with security policies and standards while implementing measures to safeguard sensitive data and information. </li><li>Evaluates and recommends third-party applications as needed. </li></ul> <p>Key Attributes</p> <ul> <li>Willingness to take on complex application problems, as well as day-to-day KTLO responsibilities. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communications skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. </li><li>Adept at training others in the use of applications developed. </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams as well as independently. </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork. </li><li>Comfortable with learning multiple application platforms and how they interface with one another amongst ERP, MRP, PLM & CRM solutions. </li><li>Familiar with software change control processes & best practices. </li><li>SQL or other relational database management maintenance & troubleshooting experience preferred. </li><li>Ability to think critically and long term about maintaining, upgrading, and migrating application solutions. </li><li>Ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies. </li><li>Good project management skills. </li><li>Experience with Infor XA ERP, GitHub, Jira, Power BI, C#, and agile methodologies are helpful, but not required </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience</p> <ul> <li>Degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. </li><li>At least three years' experience in system analysis and design methodologies. </li><li>Familiarity with database management systems. </li><li>Hands-on experience developing customizing applications. </li><li>Knowledge of server configurations, networking, and cloud computing. </li><li>Proficient in the use of application testing methodologies and tools. </li><li>Certifications in relevant technologies, software, or project management. </li></ul>
