<p>Overview</p> <ul> <li>Role Responsibilities: </li><li>Maintain and repair buildings' HVAC systems, including replacing worn or defective parts, such as motors, switches, fuses, contacts, wiring, etc. </li><li>Understand Building Automation Systems and have the ability to identity problems and present proactive solutions. </li><li>Working knowledge of DDC controls </li><li>Measures superheat temperatures and make superheat adjustments. </li><li>Operate refrigerant recovery equipment, vacuum pumps, charging equipment and service gauges. </li><li>Replaces burned out light bulbs, checks electrical circuits, repair dimmers, refrigeration controls and contacts. </li><li>Ability to use volt, ohm meter and read electrical schematics. </li><li>Ability to wire motors and motor controls. </li><li>Fabricates office partitions, doors, cornices, counters, panel walls and ceilings. </li><li>Performances all maintenance necessary to keep all locks and locking devices in functional and safe operating condition. </li><li>Installs, connects and tests sanitary plumbing fixtures, fire sprinklers, hydraulics, refrigeration, various gases, steam and other pressure systems. </li><li>Performs water-testing treatment for boilers and chillers. </li><li>Perform preventative maintenance work orders according to the schedule and plan. </li><li>Complete and submit paperwork in a timely manner, so that the CMMS can be properly updated, </li><li>Taking ownership of inventory and ordering of spare parts and materials in a timely manner. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>5 years of journey-level experience </li><li>Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. </li><li>Must be able to get along with co-workers and develop team work. </li><li>Must present a well-groomed appearance. </li><li>High school diploma or equivalency certificate is required, five or more years of mechanical experience, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry required; or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience. </li><li>Preferred Universal CFC certification as well as city/county/state license(s) and/or certification(s) as needed. </li><li>Must possess a valid driver's license. </li><li>EPA certification (for refrigerant handling) </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT:</p> <ul> <li>The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public. </li><li>Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities. </li></ul> <p>DISCLAIMER:</p> <p>This is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, requirements and skills.
