<p>This position requires a dynamic individual to teach Middle School Science. The ideal candidate will hold licensure in Middle School Science from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and will possess a strong content background, solid classroom management skills, and excellent organizational skills. Previous teaching experience and familiarity with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks are helpful.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>Plan, organize, and implement high-quality science instruction aligned with state standards and district goals.</p> <p>Establish and maintain a classroom environment that supports active learning and student engagement.</p> <p>Design and deliver lessons using varied instructional strategies, including demonstration, hands-on experiments, project-based learning, and digital tools.</p> <p>Integrate science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) content to promote interdisciplinary learning.</p> <p>Assess students' academic progress and social development; maintain accurate and timely records and generate progress reports.</p> <p>Implement accommodations and modifications to support the success of all learners, including those with special education needs and English learners.</p> <p>Fulfill professional obligations including attendance, supervision duties, communication with families, and participation in staff, department, and team meetings.</p> <p>Engage in meaningful, ongoing professional development aligned with school and district priorities.</p> <p>Perform other duties as assigned by the school principal, or the Superintendent of Schools.</p>
