<p>Your Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Inspect a variety of parts and/or bearings dimensionally and/or visually to prescribed quality standards and practices. </li><li>Be proficient in gaging and inspection operations. </li><li>Required to perform several different operations requiring skill and judgment: </li><li>optical comparator inspection, </li><li>coordinate measuring machine, </li><li>combination gaging and </li><li>critical visual inspection routine records </li><li>Set up and adjust gages or equipment as required. </li><li>Review rejected work as directed. </li><li>Conduct routine investigation into quality problems and perform other related and comparable duties. </li><li>Become certified as a level II NDT inspector in three NDT testing methods. </li><li>The NDT testing methods chosen are determined by the supervisor based on need. </li><li>Be qualified to prepare, operate and maintain non-destructive equipment such as the Magnaglo and Zyglo testers, and to inspect parts tested to product requirements. </li><li>Maintain log and routine records of all lots tested. </li><li>Able to perform part and process audits to written QA policies. </li><li>Maintain good housekeeping in work area. </li><li>Training will be provided during dayshift hours (7:00AM to 3:30PM). </li></ul> <p>Your Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED equivalent. </li><li>Ability to follow written and verbal instructions write clear communication in English. </li><li>Ability to operate complex machinery in a manufacturing environment. </li><li>Good visual acuity. </li><li>Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required. </li><li>Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship. </li><li>This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. </li></ul>
