<p>IPM Technician</p> <p>Job Type: Full-Time</p> <p>Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm</p> <p>Starting Hourly Rate: $19.50/hr</p> <p>Location: Hammonton, NJ 08037</p> <p>Who You Are:</p> <p>As an IPM Technician (Integrated Pest Management Technician) You will be responsible for application of preventative agents to preserve the quality of our product. You are a motivated and team-oriented individual who is excited to start a career in cannabis cultivation and pest management. You have a positive attitude and enjoy working in a dynamic environment. You're a self-starter, detail-oriented, and eager to learn the ins and outs of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) while ensuring the health and quality of our product.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct daily pest and disease monitoring and scouting to ensure optimal plant health. </li><li>Maintain up-to-date pesticide and preventative agent logs. </li><li>Mix and apply pesticides, preventative agents, and caustic cleaning agents according to protocols. </li><li>Operate and maintain Dramm Hydraulic Sprayers for IPM product applications. </li><li>Apply IPM products and beneficial bugs to plants. </li><li>Coordinate application schedules with the IPM Supervisor. </li><li>Follow standard operating procedures for all tasks and projects. </li><li>Adhere to all safety protocols to ensure a safe and healthy work environment. </li><li>Uphold quality standards, conducting and documenting follow-up inspections to maintain excellence. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring:</p> <ul> <li>A positive, friendly attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. </li><li>Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently. </li><li>Must be at least 21 years of age or older. </li><li>Ability to frequently lift up to 40 lbs. and work on your feet or seated for extended periods. </li><li>Adaptability and a keen eye for detail, especially in documentation and organization. </li><li>Reliable transportation and the ability to handle potential allergens, irritants, and elevated environmental conditions (such as high temperatures, humidity, and CO2 levels). </li><li>A High School Diploma or equivalent. </li></ul> <p>Even Better If:</p> <ul> <li>You have experience working with pesticides, cleaning agents, or hydraulic sprayers. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Extended time standing, sitting, walking, bending, and reaching </li><li>Close visual focus required </li><li>This position requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects </li><li>Required to stand for extended periods, lifting of objects regularly, and daily repetitive tasks </li><li>Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for 100 feet </li><li>Ability to work in an environment that is exposed to plant materials and strong odors </li></ul>
