<p>Financial Advisor Services (FAS) provides services and investment products, such as exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and mutual funds, to Vanguard's financial advisor clients. FAS serves broker-dealers, asset managers, bank trust departments, registered investment advisors, and insurance companies, both at an advisor and home office level. As Lead Industry Insights Analyst, will provide thought leadership and oversight to elevate, expand, and optimize our Industry analytics practice - enabling us to increase the depth and breadth of actionable insights delivered to the business. This individual contributor will partner closely with the existing Industry Insights function within Analytics, Sales Channel Strategists, PRD, Marketing and groups within Advisor Solutions to prioritize and execute efforts that improve our understanding of competitor trends, ensuring that analytics continues to drive successful and measurable business outcomes. We are particularly interested in applicants experience working with Morningstar and Bloomberg data.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Engages with internal partners to understand business strategy, questions and goals. Brings structure to business requests, translates requirements into an analytical project approach, and leads complex projects through completion. Delegates tasks and provides tactical and strategic guidance to peers. Serves as the analytics expert on cross-functional teams for large strategic initiatives. </li><li>Acquires and compiles structured and unstructured data and verifies its quality, accuracy and reasonableness. </li><li>Performs analyses of historical data to surface trends and insights using advanced analytical methods. Validates analytical techniques employed by other analysts. </li><li>Prepares and delivers expert level visualizations and internal presentations that translate analytic insights into tangible, actionable solutions for business partners to implement. </li><li>Develops, owns and manages recurring analytic or reporting processes. </li><li>Actively develops the analytics community at Vanguard by mentoring, coaching and connecting others with resources and training. Participates and presents during scheduled analytics seminars. </li><li>Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of five years related work experience. </li><li>Consultative approach with business functional and technical skills with Validated experience in building and delivering data & analytics products and insights. </li><li>Technical experience with Python, SQL, Tableau, Bloomberg, Morning Star </li><li>Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
