At Provident Bank, we are committed to enhancing our customer and employees' experience.</p> <p>POSITION OVERVIEW:</p> <p>This position performs a variety of tasks within the Commercial Lending Department. The incumbent maybe required to verify insurance requirements, manage files and work with the Loan Origination System and Vision Content. Orders appraisals, creates working files for new deals and works with the Portfolio Managers and Relationship Managers for closing loan requirements.</p> <p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Creating reports and ordering documents/reports related to the loans including but not limited to:</p> </li><li> <p>Appraisals, Environmental reports, Field Exams, Property Condition Reports, Plans & Cost, New Money/ Fee Report, Pending extension report, Quarterly Credit Score report, Semi Annual and Quarterly Pending Financial, Financial Covenant Report, Annual Review Report, Borrowing Base Report</p> </li><li> <p>Checks and invoices</p> </li><li> <p>Receive, prepare, and track checks</p> </li><li> <p>Receive, prepare, and track invoices on outstanding bills</p> </li><li> <p>Request additional funds to cover outstanding bills</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare loan closing sheets to track checks received, reports ordered, invoices to be paid, pre closing items</p> </li><li> <p>Set up accounts with Retail Deposit Support</p> </li><li> <p>Financial covenants - Scan into system, update trackers, set up ticklers, prepare customer letter</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee Ardmore Audit and work directly with Portfolio Managers, Lenders, and Auditors</p> </li><li> <p>Vision Content</p> </li><li> <p>Set up new customers/loans</p> </li><li> <p>Enter financials for new and existing deals</p> </li><li> <p>Enter appraisals, environmental and field exams</p> </li><li> <p>Loan Origination System (LOS)</p> </li><li> <p>Set up new customers</p> </li><li> <p>Set up ticklers for financial requirements, annual reviews, covenant testing, insurance etc</p> </li><li> <p>Set up ticklers for default letters, covenant letters and post-closing</p> </li><li> <p>Follow up on any ticklers that are generated</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate with Commercial Credit Underwriting on loan packages</p> </li><li> <p>Approvals</p> </li><li> <p>Follow up on approvals from Department Heads, Team Leader, Credit Committee and update system</p> </li><li> <p>Request files for existing deals from file room and New deals from PM/Relationship Manager</p> </li><li> <p>Verify insurance is current on all existing deals</p> </li><li> <p>Review approval for Pre Closing requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Borrowing base and brokerage accounts</p> </li><li> <p>Receive monthly signed Borrowing Bases from PM and verify they are in compliance</p> </li><li> <p>Receive monthly Brokerage accounts that are being used as collateral.</p> </li><li> <p>Compliance Trackers - Application, review ticklers, Complete Verafin</p> </li><li> <p>Back up other CLA's when necessary</p> </li><li> <p>Provide mentorship to other CLA's</p> </li><li> <p>Other ad hoc duties and projects as required</p> </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 7 years' experience commensurate with job function </li><li>Knowledge of lending products, retail banking and bank policies. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal verbal communication skills. </li><li>Attention to detail. </li><li>Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. </li><li>Ability to prioritize multiple projects and complete them on time. </li><li>Ability to interpret a variety of instructions, communicate them to others and establish controls to evaluate that these instructions are followed. </li><li>Ability to work with a wide variety of personalities in a courteous and efficient manner. </li><li>Proper understanding of lending concepts, principles and procedures. </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma preferred </li></ul> <p>WORKING CONDITIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Prolonged sitting </li><li>Lifting from 5 to 10 lbs (printer paper, storage boxes) </li><li>Occasional bending or overhead lifting (storing files or boxes) </li></ul> <p>HAZARDS:</p> <p>The hazards are mainly those present in a normal office setting and those present in commuting by car. Occasionally may be exposed to those conditions present in public forums and meeting places.</p> <p>This job description may not be all-inclusive.
