This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities, a deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, and a passion for continuous improvement.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will possess exceptional accounting, analytical, and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and mentor a high-performing team.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, project accounting, and general ledger functions. </li><li>Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals through performance reviews, goal setting, and career development planning. </li><li>Provide training, mentorship, and leadership to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. </li><li>Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation and approval of journal entries. </li><li>Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements; collaborate with business unit leaders to address inquiries and provide insights. </li><li>Review account reconciliations and support staff in resolving discrepancies. </li><li>Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and data accuracy. </li><li>Support external audits, tax engagements, and system implementations as needed. </li><li>Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and accounting policies. </li><li>Partner with Finance Business Partners to analyze budget and forecast variances. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting </li><li>Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience (public accounting or private industry) </li><li>Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP </li><li>Demonstrated experience in team leadership and staff development </li><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 10%) </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Accounting </li><li>CPA or CMA certification </li><li>Experience with construction accounting, including job costing and WIP reporting </li><li>Familiarity with accounting automation tools and process optimization </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus </li></ul> <p>#LI-JV1 #LI-ONSITE</p> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.</p> <p>CRB is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
