<p>NewsNation Part-Time Production Assistant, The Hill Sunday (Washington, DC)</p> <p>NewsNation is looking for a part-time Production Assistant to join the show team producing its weekly DC-based political news program, The Hill Sunday. The production assistant is a key part of the team completing crucial preproduction and production tasks. The production assistant works in office three days a week ( Thursday, Friday and Sunday) and is based at the network's Washington, DC bureau.</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Involvement in all weekly show procedures, assisting production team in all stages of production </li><li>Work closely with producers to conduct and compile research for host and producers. </li><li>Work closely with producers and associate producers to edit video and prepare graphics. </li><li>Assist with guests who will appear on air. </li><li>Perform administrative tasks for anchors and senior producers as assigned, in both the studio and the newsroom. </li><li>Requirements & Skills: </li><li>Minimum six months T.V. experience including internships in a news or talk show environment </li><li>Knowledge and experience editing video </li><li>Knowledge of ENPS preferred </li><li>Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Office) </li><li>Commitment to being a self-starter who proactively seeks out tasks and opportunities for growth </li><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience </li><li>Excellent knowledge of current events and politics </li><li>Must have the ability to work under deadline pressure </li><li>Must have the ability to handle multiple projects or assignments with attention to detail </li><li>Must thrive in a collaborative work environment </li></ul> <p>Compensation: $23 - $28 per hour</p> <p>Benefits: Our comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees includes, but not limited to, medical (with multiple plan options), dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, a 401(k) with company matching contributions, Paid Parental leave, life insurance and more.
