<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Interim HKMS Assistant Principal</p> <p>We welcome 092 certification holders to apply for this one year position (25/26 school year)!</p> <p>Summary: Assist the Principal with the daily operation of the building by providing support and input into the educational leadership of all staff members to promote a positive, safe learning experience for all students in alignment with the District's values, Vision of the Graduate, and Strategic Operation Plan.</p> <p>Responsibilities (not all inclusive):</p> <ul> <li>Assist the Principal in the administration of the building/school activities </li><li>Serve as building administrator/leader in the absence of the Principal </li><li>Monitor and enforce attendance guidelines </li><li>Assist with parent, faculty, and student groups </li><li>Facilitate disciplinary procedures, actions, and record-keeping </li><li>Attend special events, functions, and athletic events </li><li>Assist in the supervision of maintaining accurate student records </li><li>Supervise and evaluate certified and classified staff as assigned by the principal </li><li>Assist in the supervision of students entering and exiting the building daily </li><li>Assist in leading Data Teams and SRBI/MTSS meetings </li><li>Participate in PPT and 504 meetings as the administrator </li><li>Assist with the school safety plan </li><li>Manage emergency and/or urgent situations as they emerge </li><li>Assist in developing improvement plans, processes, procedures, and strategies to increase student achievement </li><li>Assist principal with scheduling (classes, field trips, meetings, etc.) </li><li>Assist in the selection, retention, and promotion of certified and non-certified personnel </li></ul> <p>contract</p>
