<p>Overview Utilizing a comprehensive knowledge of commercial/SBA/USDA standard operating procedures, the Commercial Servicing Specialist will provide support for daily servicing for all commercial loans, participations and loans guaranteed by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to ensure compliance with SBA, USDA, NCUA and Credit Union lending policies and practices. Responsibilities Perform post loan funding quality control of loan documentation, including modifications and amendments, in core system Populate core system with Covenant Compliance data for Lines of Credit Review UCC reports to file continuation and modifications, distribute tax monitoring reports to lenders and VP, responsible for insurance tracking and reporting Collaborate with Commercial Lenders, Underwriters, and others on Commercial/SBA/USDA loan transactions, and respond to phone and email inquiries related to loan servicing Work with external partners on the setting up of participation loans, accounting vouchers, line of credit disbursements, and wire requests Prepare supporting documentation for loan transactions and post all incoming participation payments in a timely manner, concluding with post-closing audits Provide timely and adequate notice to the Small Business Administration (SBA) and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) on past-due loans to protect the SBA and USDA Guarantee; including assisting in the clearing of all financial and collateral exceptions that affect the Conventional, USDA and SBA loan guaranties Translate information from legal loan documents into core application and ensure accurate information regarding term loans, rate options, changes, re-pricings, advances, pay-downs and the accuracy of monthly statements are represented properly on the loan servicing system Generate reports as requested for management review and approval Perform other related duties as assigned Remains cognizant of and adheres to NWFCU policies and procedures as well as regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Qualifications Required: High-School diploma or equivalent Minimum 3 years of experience with commercial/small business lending, credit analysis, familiarity with credit/compliance policies and procedures, loan analysis or other directly related experience Ability to use standard office and/or banking equipment and systems; working knowledge of Microsoft Office Knowledge of laws and regulations governing business and consumer loan servicing practices as well as collection practices Knowledge of legal documents required for Commercial/SBA/USDA loans including releasing liens Proficiency in all facets of commercial lending to include the origination of commercial credit facilities such as lines of credit, term loans and commercial real-estate mortgages, loan underwriting and credit analysis, preparation of credit memorandums, and knowledge of commercial loan documentation and collateral Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to collaborate Accuracy and detail-orientation Effective oral and written communication skills Ability to work effectively on-site in our Herndon, VA headquarters and equally effectively remotely Ability to work Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm Preferred: Loan processing experience Salesforce Additional Compensation Northwest Federal offers a comprehensive and inclusive benefits program, which includes medical, dental and vision plans for you and your family, 4 weeks paid vacation, 12 paid holidays, 24 hours of paid volunteer time, parental leave, company paid disability and life insurance, and a generous 401(k) plan with up to 7% employer match.
