You must have the ability to work on complex products and to work collaboratively and flexibly across several inter-disciplinary teams.</p> <p>DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:</p> <ul> <li>Support the Month-End close by posting accurate and timely journal entries, including accruals, prepayments and amortization of assets. </li><li>Responsible for the monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations. </li><li>Managing monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring accurate posting of bank entries. </li><li>Provide the SPT Labtech finance team with high quality data and information as requested on a timely basis. </li><li>Preparation of cash flow forecasts and assist with management of cash flow. </li><li>Responsible for reviewing and confirming monthly Intercompany balances. </li><li>Reconciliation of the credit card accounts and posting of the credit card expenses. </li><li>Reconciliation of Avalara Sales Tax reports and Accrued Sales Tax. </li><li>Manage Sales Tax notices and liaise with Tax advisors where needed. </li><li>Allocation of Healthcare costs across relevant GL codes. </li><li>Support the Staff Accountant with Cash applications and customer queries. </li><li>Assist with the annual financial audit, liaise with external auditors and provide accurate data in relation to the audit of US entities from a SPT Group and local statutory accounts perspective. </li><li>Assist with other ad hoc audits, such as Sales Tax and Property Tax audits. </li><li>Participate in communications with internal and external departments to ensure successful delivery of financial information. </li><li>Suggest process and efficiency improvements. </li><li>Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Finance team management. </li></ul>
