This role is critical to ensuring the availability, performance and security of our networks, servers, critical business systems and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills across infrastructure technologies and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Deploy and maintain: Implement IT infrastructure systems, including servers, storage, networking and cloud services (e.g., Azure) </li><li>Virtualization: Administer virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware), server platforms (e.g. Cisco UCS) and enterprise storage solutions (e.g. Pure Storage) </li><li>Server administration: Maintain and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy </li><li>Networking: Manage network infrastructure including routers, switches, SD-WAN and wireless systems </li><li>Backup and disaster recovery: Implement and maintain monitoring, backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure system reliability and data integrity </li><li>Support: Provide escalation support for incidents and service requests, working closely with the service desk and application teams </li><li>Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to support IT projects, system upgrades and technology rollouts </li><li>Documentation: Maintain infrastructure designs, configurations and standard operating procedures </li><li>Continuous improvement: Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to improve infrastructure performance and availability </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring:</p> <ul> <li>Service mindset: A service-first mindset </li><li>Technical expertise: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure systems, including servers, storage and networking </li><li>Problem-solving: Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills </li><li>Communication skills: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with both technical teams and business stakeholders effectively </li><li>Project management skills: Strong experience in planning and driving projects related to IT Infrastructure </li><li>Organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively with the proper sense of urgency </li><li>Adaptability: Ability to learn new technologies and systems quickly </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>More than five years of experience supporting IT infrastructure in a midsize or enterprise environment </li><li>Hands-on experience with networking, virtualization and Windows/Linux server administration </li><li>Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell) </li><li>Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Nagios, AKiPS) </li><li>9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET, with occasional after-hours work for maintenance or incident response </li><li>Participation in an on-call rotation </li></ul> <p>Must be able to commute to our Wayne, Pa office daily with the option of 1 remote workday per week.</p> <p>What We Offer: One of the advantages of working at USLI is the competitive salary and benefits program we offer full-time and eligible part-time employees.
