<p>General Summary:</p> <p>Provides ultrasound diagnostic tests for patients.</p> <p>Principal Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <p>Example of Essential Duties:</p> <ol> <li>Performs ultrasounds diagnostic procedures. </li></ol> <ul> <li>Writes technical impressions. </li><li>Ensures machinery is operating properly. </li><li>Maintains necessary inventory. </li><li>Positions patients for procedure. </li></ul> <p>Other Essential Duties May Include (but are not limited to):</p> <ol start="6"> <li> <p>Prepares patients for physician (vitals, asst. with exams, etc.)</p> </li><li> <p>Schedules procedures and educate patients.</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned</p> </li></ol> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and OSHA regulations. </li><li>Must be a registered Ultrasound Technologist or Registry eligible </li><li>Consistently arrives at work, in professional attire, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame. </li><li>Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed. </li><li>Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles. </li><li>Adheres to all Toledo Clinic policies and procedures. </li></ul> <p>Education and Certification:</p> <ul> <li>Radiologic Technology Graduate required. </li><li>Registry Eligible (must pass registry within 1 year of employment) </li><li>Basic Cardiac Life Support </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Six months previous experience. </li><li>Flexible availability </li></ul>
