<p>ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:</p> <p>TelevisaUnivision is looking for a Producer to join our Live Events team! You will be responsible for the editorial content and production quality of their assigned show(s) or live events. Position will conceive, develop, and produce entire live or taped programs and will be responsible for executing and achieving the show's success goals.</p> <p>ABOUT YOU:</p> <p>An enthusiastic self-starter who loves working with people, creative, detail oriented, and enjoys working in a collaborative team environment. You have experience working in a production and content creation role. Being open to explore new projects and adventures. You are accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment covering sports events in a newsroom environment.</p> <p>YOUR DAY-DAY:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for the production and planning of content, production of shows, quality of content and maintenance of the editorial tone of the assigned shows and / or live events. </li><li>The producer is the content leader in the control room with the assistance of their Associate Producer and assigned Production Assistants. </li><li>Manage assigned programs during live execution or recorded in the control room and provide support and guidance from on-air talents. </li><li>Responsible for the fulfillment of the templates, style, concept and structure of the show. </li><li>Effectively anticipate needs and solicit quality content/talent from the editor-in-chief. </li><li>Confirm format and traffic logs for each production. </li><li>Ensure that the content produced adheres to the company's editorial standards and legal compliance. </li><li>Bring new ideas and creative energy to shows. </li><li>Create innovative content that can live on multiple platforms. </li><li>Create and deliver content for other divisions such as digital, entertainment, etc. </li></ul> <p>YOU HAVE:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 2 year of experience of non-linear editing systems (AVID). </li><li>3+ years of experience as TV Segment, Associate Producer, Editor, or other similar position, preferably in a sports newsroom environment. </li><li>Keen eye for detail and a critical mind. </li><li>Strong knowledge of current sporting events and passion for sports. </li><li>Working knowledge of iNews. </li><li>Excellent organizational and communication skills. </li><li>Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends. </li></ul> <p>TelevisaUnivision is an equal opportunity employer.
