For more information on A-Gas, please visit us at www.agas.com/us.</p> <p>What will you do?</p> <p>The RTC Operator is responsible for assisting the production supervisor and team lead with the overall refurbishment of all incoming and outgoing cylinders. If you're eager to start a rewarding career and learn on the job, we'd love to hear from you.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Operate equipment to test, blast, band, and paint cylinders utilizing a water-based paint and certifying cylinders when needed </li><li>Ensures that processed product meets established regulatory, customer, and A-Gas internal requirements and specifications </li><li>Follows quality protocol concerning required documentation of verifications and the documentation, notification, and handling of non-conformities </li><li>Inspects and examines cylinders for defects, dents, and cracks </li><li>Understands hazards of various gases; sizes, and contents of cylinders by reading and interpreting cylinder labels and the color-coding of tanks </li></ul> <p>Experience, Knowledge, and Qualification</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent required; Process Technician Experience or associate degree preferred </li><li>Forklift, overhead crane, and clamp operation experience required or the ability to become certified within 60 days </li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hand tools </li><li>Functional computer skills required </li></ul> <p>Physical Demand Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Frequently pushes, pulls, moves, and/or lifts up to 50 pounds independently </li><li>Frequently operates a computer using a traditional keyboard to input detailed information such as serial numbers </li><li>Manipulations (seizing, holding, grasping or otherwise working with hands) up to 50-75% of the day </li><li>Constantly works in environments with uncontrolled climate and some exposure to outdoor weather conditions </li></ul> <p>We are an equal-opportunity employer.
