Help make a difference by serving those in need and apply today!</p> <p>The Child Care Center Cook will provide nutritional snacks and lunches for children enrolled in the Salvation Army Child Learning Center.</p> <p>About the role:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Plan menus for snacks and lunches for enrolled children, according to CACFP requirements and guidelines, and within budget and time constraints</p> </li><li> <p>Estimate amount of food needed in relation to number of children and serving sizes</p> </li><li> <p>Acquire necessary food items and supplies</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain, in storage, preparation and service of food, proper sanitation and health standards in compliance with all applicable CACFP and State and local laws and regulations</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare lunches and snacks for children and adults</p> </li><li> <p>Serve lunches to children, prep and set up snack carts</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain proper records and submit to Director</p> </li><li> <p>Daily expenditures of food, equipment and supply purchases</p> </li><li> <p>Monthly menus, in advance</p> </li><li> <p>Monthly food production records, utilizing CACFP forms</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain monthly participation records - snack and lunch counts</p> </li><li> <p>Income-adult payments</p> </li><li> <p>ServSafe or sanitation certification required within first four months of employment</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain kitchen in compliance with licensing regulations</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate use of kitchen with Head Start cooking staff</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in ongoing training of staff through in-service training, staff meetings, orientation, and other so designated programs</p> </li></ul> <p>The Salvation Army is an equal opportunity employer.
