Your Role on the Team Under the supervision of the Director of Access & Engagement, the Community Access & Engagement Specialist manages community engagement programs that support the professional development and career readiness of Claire Trevor School of the Arts (CTSA) students. Coordinates small to large scale programs that connect CTSA with the broader Orange County community. Interacts with present and prospective students, faculty, staff, external partners, campus administration, and community members. Maintains collaborative relationships with K-14 institutions, community entities, and other higher education institutions. What It Takes to be Successful Required: Strong knowledge of program development, leadership training, and student support practices. Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with diverse populations. Working knowledge of youth protection and risk management policies and practices Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training 1-3 years Program development, training, and student support Preferred: Thorough knowledge of K-12 and higher education policies and issues, especially pertaining to arts education and access. Working knowledge of creative fields and graduate school pathways.
