<p>Description</p> <p>Volunteer Opportunity: Adoption Coordinator</p> <p>Cascade Beagle Rescue is looking for a dedicated volunteer to help find forever homes for our beagles. This is an unpaid, remote position that allows you to make a life-saving impact!</p> <p>If you are a beagle lover who is organized and enjoys talking to people, this is a wonderful way to give back on a flexible schedule.</p> <p>How You'll Help</p> <p>As an Adoption Coordinator, you are the heart of our matchmaking process. While the work is performed from your home, you will be a key part of our virtual team.</p> <ul> <li>Screen Applicants: Review adoption applications, conduct phone interviews, and complete home visits. </li><li>Approve Families: Use your judgment to ensure our beagles are going to safe, loving environments. </li><li>Collaborate: Work closely with other volunteers to support our mission and the community. </li></ul> <p>What Is Required</p> <ul> <li>A Heart for Service: This is a volunteer (unpaid) role for those passionate about animal welfare. </li><li>Mobility: While the work is remote, you must have a car and a clear driving record for occasional home visits and beagle transport. </li><li>Communication: Comfort using a computer and phone to stay in touch with applicants and the team. </li><li>Tech Comfort: You should be comfortable using Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Chat) and utilizing animal rescue management software to manage files. </li></ul> <p>Why Volunteer With Us?</p> <p>You'll enjoy the flexibility of working from your favorite armchair while seeing firsthand the joy of a successful adoption.
