The 425-acre campus is a designated arboretum, complete with gardens, rolling lawns, a creek, wooded hills, and hiking trails in the Crum Woods.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>Provides preventive, rehabilitative, and emergency medical care to club sports teams. Provides on-site pre-practice and pre-event preparation for club sports teams. Approximately 2 to 3 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with some weekend coverage; September through December/February through May.</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provides on-site pre-event and pre-practice preparation for club sports teams during practice and competition. Provides the same services for visiting teams when necessary. </li><li>Treats and implements rehabilitation programs for injured student-athletes. </li><li>Communicates injuries with set documentation process to the Sports Medicine Office to ensure timely and appropriate care of injured athletes. </li><li>Facilitates baseline balance tests for all new rugby and ultimate frisbee club sports participants. </li><li>Assists with administrative tasks as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Additional Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Performs other job-related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li>Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer certification. </li><li>Pennsylvania state certification. </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Basic skills/knowledge of Google Suite. </li><li>Basic knowledge of other computer programs, i.e., Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to remain in a standing position 50% of the time for up to three hours. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to work in extreme hot and extreme cold conditions. </li></ul> <p>Act 153 Required by Position</p> <p>This position may regularly interact with minors. Under Pennsylvania Child Protective Services Law, (23 Pa. Cons.
