By joining us, you don't just become part of our success story; you help shape the future and continue our rich legacy that started back in 1874.</p> <p>Join us as a</p> <p>Electronic System Test Technician</p> <p>Your main responsibilities</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <p>Describe the key responsibilities of the position in order of importance and identify % of time spent on that responsibility.</p> <p>Safety:</p> <ul> <li>The ability to work safely and proactively contribute to a safer work environment. </li><li>Observe and actively participate in all company rules and safety practices. </li></ul> <p>Quality:</p> <ul> <li>The demonstration of work duties which an employee should know and understand to produce quality, defect-free pieces, or quality mistake-free work output. </li><li>Check quality of material and verify conformance to standards. </li><li>Responsible for quality of work. </li></ul> <p>Costing:</p> <ul> <li>Complete and maintain all necessary records and reports associated with producing simple and complex assemblies as required. </li><li>Indicate missing or damaged goods and properly communicate to the materials team. </li></ul> <p>Production:</p> <ul> <li>Work from manufacturing information, bill of material lists, requisitions, written and/or oral instructions. </li><li>Gathers and receives parts to complete tasks while following materials management guidelines. </li><li>Troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of electronic and electromechanical assemblies. </li><li>Occasionally Inserts and solders parts through multiple methods requiring hand and automated tools. </li><li>Familiar with low voltage and high voltage circuits. </li><li>May be required to assemble and commission a range of items such as computers and other OEM specific designs. </li><li>Follows all guidelines and work instructions. </li><li>Prepare for shipment completed equipment, accessory and service parts and assure parts on products are properly labeled and prepared for shipment as required. </li><li>Complete and maintain all necessary records and reports associated with assembly as required. </li><li>May be required to successfully pass certification's specific to the quality of our product. </li><li>Maintain tools and equipment. </li><li>Keep work areas in a neat and orderly fashion by completing 5S and preventative maintenance tasks. </li><li>Maintains effective communications with teammates, customers, and suppliers; accepting new challenges; acting as mentor to new/temporary employees. </li><li>All other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>What you bring</p> <p>Must have depth perception and not be color blind.</p> <p>Willingness to work overtime as needed.</p> <p>Able to lift to 50Ibs.</p> <p>Operator certification within 60 days.
