<p>Overview</p> <p>Under general supervision the Electrical Technician II is responsible for electrical troubleshooting, installation, repair and diagnostics.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Inpects, tests, and maintains substation electrical equipment, such as circuit breakers and transformers: Inspects and tests equipment to detect malfunctioning </li><li>Troubleshoot and reset breakers and control circuits </li><li>Install, and repair lighting systems </li><li>Installs, diagnoses and repairs transformers, motors and starters, switchgear, programmable logic controllers, relays and meter equipment </li><li>Installs, alters or replaces conduit, wiring, switches and outlets for lighting and power supply for interior electrical systems </li><li>Inspects and maintains primary service installations and power distribution systems </li><li>Maintains and calibrates electrical meters and emergency power systems </li><li>Follows basic electrical safety practices such as lockout/tagout procedure </li><li>Completes work orders and paperwork related to job tasks </li><li>Performs duties in accordance with departmental and regulatory safety procedures and standards </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>HS Diploma or equivalent. Electrician certification is required </li><li>At least 5 years of experience in a Electrician position with progressives responsibilities </li><li>Maximo knowledge is preferred </li><li>SAP CMMS knowledge is preferred </li><li>Knowledge of electrical wiring is required </li><li>Proficient computer skills are required.
