<p>The Emergency Department is seeking a 50-100% Paramedic, who under direct supervision of an Emergency Department staff physician and/or Emergency Department Nurse Manager/designee will assist with basic emergency patient care services in the Emergency Department.</p> <p>Duties to include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assists registered nurses and/or LIP's in the delivery of patient care, with regard to patient condition and age.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs patient care in compliance with the Iowa Department of Public Health Paramedic Scope of Practice related to:</p> </li><li> <p>Maintaining Airway/Breathing</p> </li><li> <p>Assessment i. Blood Chemistry Analysis</p> </li><li> <p>Pharmacological Interventions</p> </li><li> <p>Emergency Trauma Care i.
