<p>The National Sports Events Manager is responsible for planning and leading the execution of Red Bull's major national sports events and global partnership activations across the U.S., in alignment with a broader sports event strategy set forth by the senior leadership team.</p> <p>This role is pivotal in bringing Red Bull's sports marketing vision to life through the seamless execution of flagship events, national series, and innovative consumer experiences. It involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, regional markets, and agency partners to ensure each event is impactful, aligns with brand identity, and supports strategic objectives. The ideal candidate thrives in project management, team coordination, and creative problem-solving within dynamic, high-pressure environments.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Areas that play to your strengths</p> <p>All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:</p> <p>Expand all</p> <ul> <li>EVENT PLANNING & EXECUTION </li></ul> <p>Oversee the planning and full execution of Red Bull's national sports events and global partnership activations, ensuring alignment with the strategic direction established by senior leadership.</p> <p>Convert high-level strategies into detailed event plans, timelines, and deliverables across various markets.</p> <p>Handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality, adhering to deadlines, and managing budgets effectively.</p> <p>Identify and execute operational enhancements to improve event efficiency, scalability, and overall impact.</p> <p>Coordinate across markets to ensure consistent implementation of national series in all regional activations.</p> <p>Take the lead on-site during events, serving as the primary contact for vendors, partners, and internal teams on event days.</p> <p>Guarantee accurate and timely completion of all deliverables, including post-event reporting.</p> <ul> <li>CROSS-FUNCTIONAL & REGIONAL COLLABORATION </li></ul> <p>Act as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams throughout the event planning and execution phases, ensuring seamless collaboration across Brand, Communications, Sports, Digital, and Field Marketing.</p> <p>Support regional teams in implementing national strategies at the local level by providing planning tools, creative resources, and operational guidance.</p> <p>Collect and relay field insights to senior leadership to aid in strategic improvements.</p> <ul> <li>BUDGET & AGENCY MANAGEMENT </li></ul> <p>Manage third-party vendors and production partners to ensure high-quality execution and alignment with the brand.</p> <p>Assist in overseeing the budget, ensuring events are completed on schedule and within financial targets, while tracking expenses and reconciling costs after the event.</p> <p>Support the contract negotiation process and oversee vendor onboarding and compliance.</p> <ul> <li>BRAND INTEGRATION & CREATIVE EXECUTION </li></ul> <p>Ensure that the brand is consistently and authentically represented and seamlessly integrated across all event touchpoints.</p> <p>Collaborate with creative and branding teams to adapt and execute event toolkits, signage, merchandise, and digital assets for local use.</p> <p>Maintain high-quality production standards that uphold Red Bull's premium image.</p> <ul> <li>PROCESS IMPROVEMENT & DOCUMENTATION </li></ul> <p>Maintain comprehensive documentation of planning processes, production guidelines, and executional playbooks.</p> <p>Contribute to the creation and maintenance of effective event materials for regional teams.</p> <p>Assist with reporting and internal post-event evaluations by preparing recaps and analyzing learnings to promote continuous improvement.</p> <p>Prepare recap presentations and detailed reports for senior leadership to convey results, insights, and strategies for future planning.</p> <p>Facilitate knowledge sharing and document best practices to support learning across national and regional teams.</p> <ul> <li>INNOVATION, INSIGHTS & BEST PRACTICE </li></ul> <p>Stay updated on sports trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to introduce innovative ideas for event execution.</p> <p>Facilitate the sharing of best practices across national and regional events teams in alignment with the senior team.</p> <p>Propose improvements to execution plans based on insights, data analysis, and feedback from the field.</p> <p>EXPERIENCE</p> <p>Your areas of knowledge and expertise</p> <p>that matter most for this role:</p> <ul> <li>4-6+ years of experience in sports marketing, event production, or brand activation, with proven success managing large-scale national events </li><li>Possesses a thorough understanding of event production, marketing, and logistics </li><li>Skilled in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with agencies </li><li>Demonstrates strong organizational, communication, and budget management abilities </li><li>Passionate about sports with a deep understanding of consumer engagement through live experiences </li><li>Flexible and able to travel as required to support event execution and provide on-site leadership </li><li>Holds in-depth knowledge of the sports industry and key priority playgrounds </li><li>Travel 10-20% </li><li>Permanent </li><li>Benefits eligible </li></ul> <p>WHERE YOU'LL BE BASED</p> <p>Santa MonicaCalifornia, United States</p> <p>United StatesRed Bull North America</p>
