<p>Job Title: Scanning Operator Level 1 Location: Philadelphia, PA Job Type: Hourly Consultant Hours: 8 am to 5 pm, M-F Pay: $20/hr Essential Functions: Prepare customer documents for the digital imaging process Check physical documents for quality issues that may complicate the scan process Prepare a wide array of document types and conditions for scanning Index scanned images according to naming mechanisms outlined by the customer and/or RDIC leadership Perform additional post-imaging services as required Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs Physical Demands: Minimal to moderate physical effort required, including moving boxes and loading paper into machines Requires finger dexterity and movement between machines for various document types Mental Demands: Problem-solving, communication (written and verbal), comprehension, and mental acuity Skills: Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills Typing speed and accuracy Knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation Familiarity with MS Office and data programs Ability to handle and manage large volumes of documents with confidentiality Capable of working under deadlines and shifting priorities Self-initiative with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Effective planning, organizing, and problem-solving abilities Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service environment Prior experience as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk is an asset but not required Experience with administrative tasks and office software is preferred Education: Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
