<ul> <li>Lab Technician - Interviews Happening This Week* </li></ul> <p>Location: Camden, NJ</p> <p>Compensation: $35.00 to 38.00 an hour</p> <p>Duration: 9 months contract to hire</p> <p>Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM or 9:00 AM-5:00 PM</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Lab Technician to join our small but dynamic laboratory team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong chemistry background and hands-on experience in oil testing and quality control. You'll be working in a well-established company that has been a trusted partner to major utility companies like PSE&G since 1957.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Perform routine and specialized testing on used motor oil, including:</p> </li><li> <p>Pensky-Martens Closed Cup Flash Point</p> </li><li> <p>BS&W by Centrifuge</p> </li><li> <p>pH testing</p> </li><li> <p>PCB testing using Gas Chromatography (GC)</p> </li><li> <p>Total Halogens using Dexsil Test Kit</p> </li><li> <p>Follow all lab safety protocols and SOPs</p> </li><li> <p>Accurately document and report test results</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain lab equipment and cleanliness</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with team members and report to Lab Supervisors (Sandip/Tom)</p> </li></ul> <p>Must-Have Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field </li><li>3+ years of laboratory testing experience, specifically with PCBs using GC </li><li>2+ years of experience with BS&W, Flash Point, and Total Halogens testing using Dexsil Test Kit </li><li>Proficiency with pH meters and general laboratory procedures </li></ul> <p>Nice-to-Have Skills</p> <ul> <li>Experience with wet chemistry techniques </li><li>Background in oil testing and quality control </li><li>Familiarity with writing or following SOPs </li></ul> <p>Interviews are happening this week!
