Full-time employees (working 30< hours per week) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage, as well as access to a variety of voluntary benefits.</p> <p>In addition, all employees - both full-time and part-time - are eligible for paid time off, holiday pay, and participation in out 401k retirement savings plan, which includes a company match.</p> <p>We are committed to providing valuable benefits to meet the diverse needs of our team.</p> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>EFDA Certification in the state of Ohio </li><li>Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures </li><li>Taking and developing dental radiographs (x-rays) </li><li>Asking about the patient's medical history and taking blood pressure and pulse </li><li>Serving as an infection control officer, developing infection control protocol and preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment </li><li>Helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment </li><li>Providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures, such as the placement of a restoration (filling) </li><li>Teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing and nutritional counseling) </li><li>Taking impressions of patients' teeth for study casts (models of teeth) </li><li>Communicating with patients and suppliers (e.g., scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, billing and ordering supplies) </li><li>Helping to provide direct patient care in all dental specialties, including orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics and oral surgery </li><li>Completes approved procedures validated through the Dental Board such as placement of amalgam, composite restorations, stainless steel crowns, space maintainers, etc. </li><li>Follow properly issued instructions/directions regarding patient flow and manage the flow of patients to schedule/maximize the doctor's time if applicable </li></ul> <p>Bright Direction Dental is an equal opportunity employer.
