Our team is growing and expanding, and there has never been a more exciting time to be part of it.</p> <p>THE POSITION: Facilities Coordinator</p> <p>The Shade Store is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to join our Facilities & Construction Department. We're entering a phase of aggressive growth, so this is an exciting time to join the team that builds, maintains and supports our 150+ showrooms. The Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for providing departmental support including a range of administrative functions. You will assist in all aspects of maintaining existing showrooms. If you're looking for an exciting work environment with creative minds and tremendous growth opportunity, then we look forward to hearing from you.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Support our nationwide showrooms by responding to and tracking service requests, including off-hours emergencies </li><li>Place and track orders through delivery for supplies, product, and displays </li><li>Monitor order process through installation and collect/file all documentation </li><li>Follow up with showroom staff on all service requests to ensure and document completion </li><li>Create and request purchase orders for projects and repairs/maintenance </li><li>Assist with leasing files and project documents </li><li>Act as a liaison between Facilities & Construction, internal departments and outside vendors (I.e. Sales Staff, Property Manager Representatives, General Contractors) </li><li>Maintain and update departmental files including weekly project trackers, ServiceChannel, site contact sheets, proposals, purchase orders, invoices, permits, licenses, and the showroom display and décor library </li><li>Backup and assist team members as needed </li></ul> <p>WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required - Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred </li><li>1-2 years relevant work experience </li><li>Proficient in MS Office and web applications </li><li>Experience with ServiceChannel preferred but not required </li><li>Excellent customer service skills to facilitate interaction between internal teams and vendors </li><li>Effective time management, organizational, and communication skills </li><li>Self-starter with great attention to detail </li><li>Willingness to be on-call off-hours/weekends as necessary </li><li>Ability to read and understand construction drawings </li><li>Basic understanding of MEP and architectural building systems </li></ul> <p>WHY WORK AT THE SHADE STORE</p> <p>We set out to create a company culture that is enjoyable and rewarding, where team members can have meaningful impact.
