Our team takes pride in craftsmanship, efficiency, and working safely.</p> <p>We're hiring a Production Associate I (Nights) to support our handcrafted tile operations. This is a hands-on role with an initial focus on firing the tile in kilns and roller hearths. Here's the qualifications we are looking for...</p> <p>Key Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes. </li><li>Must be at least 18 years old. </li><li>Must be able to work in the US without restrictions or sponsorship. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>At least one year of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or similar industrial work environment demonstrating familiarity with production processes; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. </li><li>Ability to work occasional overtime, including Saturdays, as needed, to support production demands. </li><li>Prior experience with quality control or visual inspection. </li><li>Prior experience handling ceramics, tile, or similar fragile materials. </li><li>Attention to detail and a focus on following standard processes, performing visual inspections, and doing things safely. </li><li>Comfortable with physical work and being on your feet. </li><li>Interest in working nights, dependable, and able to work well with others. </li></ul> <p>Additional Requirements</p> <p>Physical Capabilities: Ability to regularly lift 20-30 lbs. and occasionally 50+ lbs. Work involves prolonged periods of standing, walking, lifting, reaching, bending, and repetitive motion associated with loading and unloading kilns and roller hearths and transporting ceramic units. Ability to learn and safely operate machinery and equipment, including kilns, roller hearths, pallet jacks, and pallet wrappers (training provided).</p> <p>Work Environment: Duties are performed in a production factory environment requiring sustained physical activity. Exposure to elevated temperatures, especially during summer months and when working near kilns or heat producing equipment. Exposure to industrial noise, dust, and typical manufacturing environmental conditions.</p> <p>Screening: Successful completion of a drug screen and background check</p> <p>Reliability: Ability to maintain consistent attendance and work performance</p> <p>Safety Compliance: Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures</p> <p>Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.</p> <p>We believe in supporting you from the moment you join us, which is why Kohler offers key benefits on day one.
