<p>Assignment: Half-day Title I Aide / Half-day PE & Swim Aide Salary: Salary will be determined as per the Board approved classified salary schedule Deadline: Until filled</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>Ayersville Elementary is seeking a full-time aide to support students in both academic and physical education settings. The role includes small group or one-on-one instruction in reading and math (Title I), and assisting with swimming instruction and safety during PE classes.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provide reading, writing, and math support under teacher guidance </li><li>Assist in swim instruction, water safety, and pool supervision </li><li>Support students in the locker room to ensure safety and order </li><li>Monitor and document student progress </li><li>Communicate effectively with staff and families </li><li>Maintain a safe, positive, and respectful learning environment </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma </li><li>Eligible for ODE Educational Aide Permit </li><li>Must pass BCI/FBI background checks </li><li>Ability to assist in water; basic tech and communication skills </li><li>Maintain confidentiality and professionalism </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Experience with elementary students </li><li>Familiarity with Title I/intervention strategies </li><li>Background in swim instruction or water safety </li><li>First Aid/CPR or Lifeguard/WSI certification preferred </li></ul>
