As we are transitioning from our legacy applications to our new platform (SimCorp), you will play a pivotal role in transforming the front office capabilities of those modules in SimCorp. You will be expected to...</p> <ul> <li>Build solutions within the SimCorp suite of products including both SimCorp Dimension Asset Manager and SimCorp Dimension Order Manager. </li><li>Act as support and subject matter expert in key front office applications with a focus on SimCorp Dimension (Asset Manager with Order Manager integration). </li><li>Support and train organizational groups throughout Conning with SimCorp Asset Manager, with a focus on Market Facing Portfolio Management with integration with Order Manager. </li><li>Demonstrate a solid comprehension of system infrastructure along with the ability to build effective solutions for various ad-hoc requests. </li><li>Work directly with all levels of the organization. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Guide the analysis, design, and implementation/testing of SimCorp Dimension Asset Manager to replace the existing legacy systems used to manage assets, including the migration of our legacy reporting solutions to support managing assets. </li><li>Collaborate with different function teams such as Portfolio Management, Accounting, Trading, Quantitative Analysts, Data Administration and IT to translate requirements into a functioning Asset and Order Management solution. </li><li>Analyze and identify data quality issues and provide strategic solutions for related business processes. </li></ul> <p>Ancillary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Create Asset Management scheduled reports to replace reports from our legacy systems. </li><li>Understanding of systems scheduling processes to work with IT in solutioning scheduled work processes. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or business degree (Finance preferred) or equivalent related technical and work experience. </li><li>Minimum of three years of experience. </li><li>Strategic thinker with excellent communication skills. </li><li>Ability to problem solve and make recommendations to management. </li><li>Ability to prioritize workloads and drive change. </li><li>Solid knowledge of Excel and a working knowledge of other Microsoft Office products. </li><li>SQL skills, a plus. </li><li>Power BI, a plus. </li><li>Crystal Reports experience, a plus. </li></ul> <p>Conning is an equal opportunity employer.
