<p>Building Maintenance Technician - Building Systems</p> <p>Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.00 / hour</p> <p>Quad Sussex, WI is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and operation of facility building systems and infrastructure. This role focuses on maintaining HVAC, plumbing, utilities, and general building systems to ensure a safe and reliable work environment.</p> <p>Candidates with general maintenance experience are encouraged to apply-HVAC or electrical experience is a plus, but not required.</p> <p>Paid relocation may be available for highly qualified candidates located 100+ miles from the plant.</p> <p>Why Join Quad</p> <ul> <li>Competitive pay based on experience </li><li>Excellent benefits package </li><li>Strong team culture and supportive work environment </li></ul> <p>Schedule:</p> <p>12-hour shifts (3 days one week, 4 days the next)</p> <p>Rotating days every 4 months</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Building Systems & Maintenance</p> <ul> <li>Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and utilities </li><li>Assist with maintaining heating, cooling, and ventilation systems </li><li>Support upkeep of refrigeration equipment such as coolers and air dryers </li><li>Help maintain water systems, including basic treatment and monitoring </li></ul> <p>General Facility Maintenance</p> <ul> <li> <p>Complete general building repairs such as:</p> </li><li> <p>Plumbing fixtures (toilets, sinks, drains)</p> </li><li> <p>Minor wall repairs, painting, and ceiling tile replacement</p> </li><li> <p>Roof leak patching and basic structural repairs</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain and repair doors, dock equipment, and other facility components</p> </li></ul> <p>Equipment & Mechanical Support</p> <ul> <li>Assist with maintenance of motors, compressors, pumps, and other mechanical equipment </li><li>Perform basic fabrication, repairs, and adjustments as needed </li></ul> <p>Grounds & Seasonal Work</p> <ul> <li>Perform basic grounds maintenance and landscaping </li><li>Assist with snow removal and operate equipment as needed </li></ul> <p>Safety & Teamwork</p> <ul> <li>Follow all safety policies and procedures </li><li>Keep work areas clean and organized </li><li>Work from maintenance schedules, service requests, and team priorities </li><li>Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED </li><li>1-3 years of maintenance, facilities, or related experience </li><li>Willingness to learn and take on a variety of maintenance tasks </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team </li><li>Willingness to work overtime as needed </li></ul> <p>Required Skills</p> <ul> <li>Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability </li><li>Experience using hand and power tools safely </li><li>Ability to follow instructions and read basic technical information </li><li>Strong work ethic and reliability </li><li>Must provide own basic hand tools </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)</p> <ul> <li>Experience with HVAC, plumbing, or building systems </li><li>Basic electrical knowledge (motors, controls, or troubleshooting) </li><li>Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment </li><li>Technical training or certifications in maintenance-related fields </li><li>Valid driver's license (for snow removal equipment operation) </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally </li><li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods </li><li>Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces </li><li>Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions </li><li>Ability to work 12-hour shifts </li></ul>
