<p>Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Production Planner for a long-term opportunity with a manufacturing company in NW Portland, OR. The person in this position will be responsible for coordinating production flow, maintaining accurate production and inventory data within the ERP system, and ensuring materials and work orders are aligned to meet production schedules and customer demand. This role will play a key part in supporting a new Oracle ERP implementation for the facility.</p> <p>Pay: $28-$30/hour</p> <p>Production Planner Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Plan, schedule, and coordinate production activities to ensure efficient workflow and on-time completion of manufacturing orders.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage and maintain accurate production data, inventory transactions, and material movements within the Oracle ERP system.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor work orders and production status to ensure materials and inventory are correctly staged and reflected in the ERP system.</p> </li><li> <p>Audit inventory and production transactions to identify discrepancies and ensure system accuracy.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate with production, purchasing, warehouse, and stockroom teams to maintain proper material flow and replenishment levels.</p> </li><li> <p>Open, release, and manage production and replenishment jobs based on customer orders, forecasts, and seasonal demand.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with inventory cycle counts, reconciliation activities, and physical inventory processes as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Investigate and resolve inventory, scheduling, and production discrepancies in a timely manner.</p> </li><li> <p>Analyze production schedules, inventory levels, and material requirements to support operational efficiency.</p> </li><li> <p>Support Oracle ERP implementation efforts by helping maintain accurate system data and standardized processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with multiple departments to improve planning accuracy and production performance.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Production Planner Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or training in production planning, supply chain, or manufacturing preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum two years of production planning, scheduling, manufacturing coordination, or related experience preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with Oracle ERP systems, including production, inventory, and material transactions strongly preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding of manufacturing workflows, production scheduling, and inventory control principles.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows operating systems required.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent communication and coordination skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</p> </li><li> <p>Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and process consistency.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.</p> </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li> <p>$28-$30/hour based on experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Medical</p> </li><li> <p>401(k) with company matching.</p> </li><li> <p>Paid Sick Leave</p> </li><li> <p>Paid Holidays</p> </li></ul>
