<p>Job Description</p> <p>Acts as a team lead. Education: Experience: Job Duties:</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. </li><li>The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. </li><li>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. </li><li>Working knowledge of all aspects of the department </li><li>Ability to effectively communicate with Team Members and leadership </li><li>This is a developmental role to become a future salary leader in the organization. The person placed in this role will be expected to move into an open supervisory role within 18-24 months or be asked to step back into a DCA role. There is also an expectation that the TM goes through the Emerging Leaders program. </li></ul> <p>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:</p> <ul> <li>Perform any number of duties and functions within the Department. Assist Managers with daily departmental duties. 80% on the floor - workflow in production (team's productivity) vs. working in production. </li><li>Meet with Department or DC Supervisors to review workload. Includes allocation of team members, review of goals and objectives for the shift. </li><li>Responsible for keeping the workflow moving through departments as specified by the Department or DC Supervisors. Ensure assigned Team Members have all the necessary tools to do their jobs. Coach Team Members to ensure processes are being adhered. </li><li>Ensure assigned Team Members are working in a safe and efficient manner. </li><li>Be constantly available in work location to assist as needed and resolve issues as required. Be present and available to perform the following: Gemba walks, 30/60/90 - Equipment training verification; training ramp ups; observations; and gap time coaching. </li><li>Regularly communicate with Department and DC Supervisors on issues that arise and be able to react as required. </li><li>Conduct start-up meetings with team members to discuss day before results, today's expectations, issues that need to be addressed, office safety issues, and work assignments for the day on as needed basis </li><li>Ensure all required paperwork is accurate, complete and turned into the appropriate parties at required times Monitor and assist in the training of new employees </li></ul> <p>California Residents click below for Privacy Notice:</p> <p>https://jobs.advanceautoparts.com/us/en/disclosures</p>
