<p>Job Title: Lifecycle Support Specialist</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>As a Lifecycle Support Specialist, you will actively investigate Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) of multiple products from various vendors and produce internal DMSMS reports on a scheduled basis. You will proactively reach out to multiple Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to determine life cycle dates and potential last-time buys. Additionally, you will produce system-specific DMSMS reports for submission to customers and participate in customer meetings as the subject matter expert in DMSMS-related matters. Your role will include performing failure analysis and predictions, generating and presenting regular failure summary and analysis reports, conducting GFE/CFE audits, and assisting in the generation of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) documentation.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Actively investigate DMSMS of multiple products from different vendors and produce internal DMSMS reports on a scheduled basis. </li><li>Proactively reach out to multiple OEMs to determine life cycle dates and potential last-time buys. </li><li>Produce system-specific DMSMS reports for submission to customers. </li><li>Participate in customer meetings as the subject matter expert in DMSMS-related matters. </li><li>Perform failure analysis and predictions and make recommendations on depot spares holdings required to meet system sustainability dates. </li><li>Generate and present regular failure summary and analysis reports. </li><li>Conduct GFE/CFE audits and present GFE/CFE reports to the customer. </li><li>Assist in the generation of ILS-related documentation and CDRLs in accordance with defined DIDs. </li><li>Support life cycle support manager in ILS activities. </li><li>Assist in activities relating to technical configuration management, including part number creation and definition, sub-assembly BOM management, version control, and related data entry into the ERP system (SAP). </li><li>Assist the document configuration manager with document control processes during times of high workload and to cover during staff absences. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Degree in a related field or at least 5 years of relevant experience. </li><li>Meticulous attention to detail and data accuracy. </li><li>Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success. </li><li>Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers. </li><li>Critical thinker and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Ability to work concurrently on multiple tasks and projects. </li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills. </li><li>Good organizational and time management skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently and communicate progress/problems to appropriate personnel. </li><li>In-depth knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Hands-on experience with SAP and MS Access databases is highly beneficial. </li></ul> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job</p> <p>classification and length of employment.
