<p>GENERAL SUMMARY</p> <p>Working in a centralized environment overseas and performs day-to-day activities to ensure production deadlines are met for all domestic and international wire transfer service activities. Responsible for the supervision of department staff to ensure accurate and timely processing.</p> <p>DIRECT REPORTS</p> <p>The incumbent supervises the Wire Transfer Department staff.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li>Monitor workflow and delegate work to staff as necessary to ensure staff resources are used with maximum efficiency. </li><li>Ensure all wires are processed promptly, accurately, and accordingly to bank policy/procedures. </li><li>Assist with hiring, training, and development of staff </li><li>Help with scheduling and timesheet approval. </li><li>Ensure staff are cross trained in wire functions </li><li>Monitor staff performance, providing feedback and coaching as necessary. </li><li>Monitor wire transfer queues, identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors. </li><li>Resolve unusual or non-routine issues or problems. Resolves complex customer service issues and recommends solutions to ensure customer satisfaction. </li><li>In conjunction with the Wire Transfer Manager, vendors and internal departments, coordinate system enhancements, upgrades and new functionality ensuring compliance as well as error-free integration. </li><li>Maintain logs, volume activity charts, records, and provide management with daily, weekly and monthly statistical data as required. </li><li>Decode, log, research, input, verify and/or approve outgoing wires on various systems with the highest degree of accuracy. </li><li>Ensure proper follow-up and accurate record maintenance for tracing, investigation and correction of incoming and outgoing wires. </li><li>Perform and maintain application and database updates to insure current information is utilized for wire processing controls (I.e. OFAC; RMA; IBS records; Money exchange; etc.). </li><li>Ensure accurate maintenance of daily production logs. </li><li>Resolve any escalated discrepancies, issues, or customer complaints in a timely manner. </li><li>Review/perform End-of-Day balancing. </li><li>Provide support assistance for the international department and FX Ops on the S.W.I.F.T. message processing as necessary. </li><li>Follow bank policies, procedures, and guidelines. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Education: High school graduate. Some college preferred, but not mandatory. </li><li>Experience: Previous banking experience in wire transfer processing environment with two to three years as a lead employee or supervisor. Detail oriented with high emphasis on accuracy. </li><li>Skills/Ability: </li><li>Thorough working knowledge of all departmental wire transfer platforms. </li><li>Thorough working knowledge of the Fedline direct Interface with Payplus computers and peripheral equipment to include Payplus Email. </li><li>Thorough working knowledge of the BeB, FIS host session interface on Payplus. Operate S.W.I.F.T. and Finastra Payplus system. </li><li>PC proficient, typing a minimum of 50 wpm. Knowledge of ten-key by touch and general office equipment. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks with exacting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of Bank employees, Correspondent Bank employees and vendors </li><li>Knowledge of wire processing systems and controls. Ability to work effectively and demonstrate flexibility in a continually changing environment. </li></ul> <p>OTHER DETAILS</p> <p>$70K - $80K / year</p> <p>Pay determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.</p> <p>This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.</p>
