<p>Facilities Engineer</p> <p>Location: Palmdale, CA</p> <p>Job ID: #71315</p> <p>Pay Range: $55-70 AN HOUR</p> <p>6 MONTH CONTRACT</p> <p>This role will position you as the primary focal point for facility improvement projects, representing our capabilities and contributing to the mission of solving complex challenges and advancing human discovery.</p> <p>Your day to day contributions will include but are not limited to the following:</p> <ul> <li>Leading and managing facility improvement projects, including renovations, expansions, and equipment installations, from conception to completion. </li><li>Developing comprehensive project plans, managing budgets and schedules, and coordinating effectively with contractors and vendors to ensure timely and on-budget delivery. </li><li>Gathering and analyzing data regarding facility specifications, regulatory requirements, and construction feasibility to inform decision-making. </li><li>Collaborating with architecture and engineering firms to establish design criteria and prepare detailed layout drawings. </li><li>Preparing bid sheets and contracts for construction and facility acquisitions, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards. </li></ul> <p>As a Facilities Engineer, you will play a crucial role in planning, designing, and overseeing the reconfiguration, maintenance, and enhancement of our facilities. Your work will directly impact the success of our organization</p> <ul> <li>Conducting regular safety inspections, implementing safety protocols, and ensuring employee training on safety procedures. </li><li>Working with Construction Engineering team inspecting construction and installation progress, ensuring adherence to established designs, specifications, and timelines. </li><li>Serving as the "face" of Facilities, representing our department's capabilities and fostering strong relationships across the organization. </li></ul> <p>Required skills :</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 4 years of experience in Construction Project Management </li><li>2 years of experience with Auto-Cad </li><li>4 years of experience with Microsoft Project </li><li>Experience managing projects over $500,000 in scope </li><li>Ability to read/interpret blueprints / use digital measuring devices </li><li>Previous experience with ICD-705 compliance </li><li>4 years of hands on Construction experience preferred. </li><li>Self starter with minimal supervision to complete tasks (work independently with minimal oversight) </li></ul> <p>Benefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law</p> <p>Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is an equal opportunity employer.
