You will work alongside fellow caregivers to provide high-quality patient care.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Supervises direct care of residents and nursing personnel on his/her shift. </li><li>Administers direct care as necessary. </li><li>Administer prescribed medications to patients. </li><li>Make rounds to ensure proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment. </li><li>Keeps physicians and families aware of changes in residents' condition. </li><li>Assists in developing comprehensive care plans. </li><li>Maintains accurate documentation of all care rendered. </li><li>Responds to resident emergency call system. </li><li>Encourages restorative care in order to obtain maximum resident independence. </li><li>Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned. </li><li>Assures proper functioning of equipment and adequate supplies. </li><li>Shares on-call duties with designated staff. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>All nurses must be currently licensed in the State. Must have current CPR certification. </li><li>Previous experience in nursing, patient care, or other related fields, at least 6 months of nursing experience in a long-term care setting preferred. </li><li>Ability to build rapport with patients. </li><li>Compassionate and caring demeanor. </li></ul> <p>All new hires must be able to pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility.
