<p>Job Description:</p> <p>SUMMARY</p> <p>The Woodbridge School District consists of one school: Beecher Road School, a PreK-6 elementary school employing approximately 165 staff members to serve and educate approximately 880 students. Woodbridge is one of Connecticut's best towns, and Beecher Road School is the heart of the town. For the 2025/26 school year, the District seeks lunchroom aides for 3 hrs/wk: 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM Monday through Friday.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Supervises students eating lunch in either the cafeteria and/or classroom spaces, including monitoring student behavior, assisting students as necessary, and washing/cleaning areas after each lunch shift </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or the equivalent </li><li>Ability to understand and follow procedures related to health and sanitation </li><li>Ability to work well with students and other adults </li><li>Ability to stand and walk for up to three (3) hours </li><li>Full range of motion, including when bending and reaching </li></ul> <p>SALARY AND BENEFITS</p> <p>The position is a part-time, school-year position with the hours indicated in the "Summary" above.
