<p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform grounds keeping and building maintenance duties. </li><li>Mow lawn either by hand or using a riding lawnmower. </li><li>Cut lawn using hand, power or riding mower and trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls. </li><li>Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes. </li><li>Shovel snow from walkways and sprinkle ice down to keep people from falling. </li><li>Perform routine maintenance duties such as applying plaster, fixing fountains, and other duties. </li><li>Sweep walkway of debris. </li><li>Trim shrubs and pull weeds. </li><li>Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in grounds keeping. </li><li>Rake, mulch, and prune the grounds as needed. </li><li>Other duties as may be assigned </li><li></li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent is preferred </li><li>Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions </li><li>Ability to work at heights for roof, glass, vent, or screen repair </li><li>Team player, good verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Ability to lift, squat, bend, twist, lean, etc as the job requires </li><li>Self-motivated, positive attitude, work independently and as part of a team </li><li>Continuous interaction with various department and colleagues </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Year-round indoor greenhouse and/or warehouse environment, where temps average 70 degrees, as well as outdoor work where temps can reach below 0 in the winter </li><li>Position requires sitting, standing, walking on a regular basis </li><li>Working at various heights. </li><li>Use of various tools and equipment daily </li><li>Heavy lifting up to 50lbs. </li><li>Working around bees </li></ul> <p>We are pleased to offer the following Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Paid weekly </li><li>Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance </li><li>401K </li><li>Paid time off </li><li>Employee Engagement & Recognition Programs </li><li>Opportunities for growth and advancement </li></ul> <p>#_Sunset</p> <p>Starting salary $20/hour</p>
