Our internship program will provide you the opportunity to work on real-world projects, as well as network with people at Harmony through various events and activities.</p> <p>Summary of Internship:</p> <p>This position will work on the Development team with the broader Research and Development organization at Harmony. The Development Teams are responsible for:</p> <ul> <li>Overseeing the drug development process from molecule to final product </li><li>Providing strategic and operational input into clinical trial design and execution </li><li>Biostatistics input on study design, analysis and interpretation of data </li><li>Regulatory strategy </li><li>Safety monitoring and reporting </li><li>Working cross-functionally with the Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance, and Medical Affairs Teams to accomplish project-related business needs </li></ul> <p>This internship will work on one or more projects in the areas of Sleep/wake, Neurobehavioral and Epilepsy franchises.</p> <p>This position will be responsible for learning the high-level scientific progression of a molecule from drug discovery, through clinical investigation, and ultimately FDA approval.</p> <p>There may also be other projects and initiatives within the team that may require support.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum age for all candidates must be at least 18 years or older </li><li>Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university as a rising sophomore, junior or senior in a science-focused area of study </li><li>Must be proficient in use of MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Teams </li><li>Demonstrated interpersonal skills including flexibility, collaboration and inclusion skills, and ability to work in a team environment </li><li>Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIORNMENT:</p> <ul> <li>While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. </li><li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include: Close vision. </li><li>Manual dexterity required to use computers, tablets, and cell phone. </li><li>Continuous sitting for prolonged periods. </li></ul> <p>#LI-DNI</p>
