A National Coatings & Supplies Distribution Center Associate performs material handling functions within the Distribution Center. Under indirect supervision, the individual will be responsible for accurately picking, stocking, counting, and adjusting inventory in a timely manner, as needed through the use of hand-held bar code scanners. Schedule is Monday thru Friday- 7:30am to 4:30pm. $21.00 per hour.</p> <p>We moved to 7650 Eastgate Blvd. Lebanon, TN.</p> <p>Distribution Center Associate Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Picks orders accurately and to a set production standard, as assigned by supervisor </li><li>Properly log, process, and stock inbound merchandise shipments </li><li>Palletizes and labels overstock so that it may be handled properly </li><li>Checks shipments for accuracy and reports the results to the supervisor </li><li>Ensures that all the parts are located </li><li>Tags all orders to ensure that the order goes to the proper location in shipping </li><li>Ensures that all daily housekeeping duties are completed at end of every day </li><li>Cycle counts bin locations as assigned by supervisor </li><li>Restocks consumables and prepares for the next business day </li><li>other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Distribution Center Associate Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>HS Diploma/ GED required </li><li>0 to 2 years previous work experience is preferred but not required at this level. </li><li>Valid driver's license with clean driving record </li><li>Ability to use computer equipment and simple math ability </li><li>Ability to use hand held bar code scanning equipment in a paperless warehouse </li><li>Ability to stand and walk up to 3 hours at a time </li><li>Ability to lift 20lbs regularly and up to 50lbs on occasion </li><li>Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl. </li></ul> <p>What's in it for You?</p> <ul> <li>Competitive Compensation of $21.00 hourly </li><li>Retention bonus of up to $1,600 in your first year-earn $400 for every full 3 months of work completed! </li><li>Day shift Only/Monday thru Friday! </li><li>Medical, Dental, & Vision Benefits on Day 1! </li><li>401k Retirement Savings Plan </li><li>Life & Disability Insurance </li><li>Direct Deposit & biweekly payroll </li><li>Collaborative environment where your input is valued daily </li></ul> <p>Come join a company where we are collaborative, fast-paced, innovative and challenging.
