<p>Job Title: Reliability Program Engineer</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert in Engineering with extensive experience in the creation, maturation, and management of maintenance, reliability, and systems operability plans specifically for nuclear power applications. The role involves working with new systems and requires direct knowledge of ASME Codes and processes, particularly In Service Inspections (ISI) and In Service Testing (IST). The ideal candidate will have real-world experience in maintenance and reliability planning for nuclear power facilities and reactor systems.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop applicable maintenance and engineering-related programs. </li><li>Define, develop, and manage plant-level programmatic requirements for advanced reactor technology. </li><li>Ensure program development and implementation support overall project development and inform system, structure, and component design. </li><li>Identify applicable industry Engineering and Maintenance Programs related to ASME Code compliance and apply design requirements through programmatic governance and standards. </li><li>Assist with the identification, development, design, and integration of special tooling, robotics, and automated or remote maintenance platforms to support plant maintenance. </li><li>Lead and participate in plant design reviews to classify plant equipment for development of a lifecycle plant asset management strategy. </li><li>Collaborate with design engineers to incorporate maintenance requirements into nuclear systems and components, ensuring ease of access and serviceability. </li><li>Ensure all maintenance aspects of the design comply with relevant nuclear regulations and standards, including NRC and international guidelines. </li><li>Recommend system design alterations and enhancements to improve reliability, maintainability, and operation from assembly through decommissioning. </li><li>Prepare and review detailed maintenance documentation, including procedures, manuals, and technical reports, to support design and future operational phases. </li><li>Collaborate in the technical oversight and direction of internal or external teams. </li><li>Organize maintenance engineering efforts between specialty and other engineering groups or disciplines, suppliers, contractors, or other groups as required. </li><li>Collaborate in planning, scheduling, and organizing detailed phases of engineering work. </li><li>Facilitate and assist in assessing customer needs and capturing requirements. </li><li>Execute engineering assignments with clear objectives, utilizing conventional specifications and Interface Control Documents. </li><li>Maintain professional demeanor and behavior in all communications. </li><li>Lead execution of core tasks and responsibilities with some latitude for independent judgment. </li><li>Provide feedback and guidance to junior team members. </li><li>Lead small groups of engineers or specialists to solve complex technical problems and deliver high-quality maintenance work products on time and within budget. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Project management </li><li>Reliability engineering </li><li>Maintenance program development </li><li>Project engineering </li><li>Nuclear industry experience </li><li>Knowledge of ASME Standards, including IST and ISI </li><li>Experience with maintenance and reliability plan creation and management </li><li>Planning skills </li><li>OM Code </li><li>ASME Section XI </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or related field from an accredited institution </li><li>10-15 years of experience in engineering, maintenance, or operations roles </li><li>Experience with OM Codes, ASME Section IX (Small reactors) </li><li>Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) </li><li>Reliability and Integrity Management (RIM) program development </li><li>Pressure Vessel codes </li><li>General knowledge of systems engineering concepts such as program requirements development, traceability, tracking, and monitoring </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The role is situated in an office environment.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $85.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job</p> <p>classification and length of employment.
